It was a beautiful day to hit the road for a dive to Blake’s Pumpkin Jungle in Masstown Nova Scotia. Learning about this amazing fundraiser only days before it happened last year, Brian Sea has been chomping at the bit to see all the fun.

Friends and family were devastated when Chantelle Nicole Lindsay lost her battle with cystic fibrosis in February 2020, at age 23 but used this heartbreaking loss as inspiration to host an event with the goal of helping other cystic fibrosis warriors like Chantelle. Now the annual Pumpkin Blast is an amazing, two day, fun filled, fundraiser for the entire family and a great cause.

This fundraiser is open to the public, runs 10am-4pm both days, with a Halloween Barn Dance on Saturday night.

Some of the highlights include…

  • a 1000 lb Pumpkin Drop,
  • Live Music.
  • Pumpkin Sling shots
  • A Giant pumpkin cannon
  • a Hay maze
  • Barbecue
  • Face painting
  • Silent auction
  • Pumpkin bowling
  • Pumpkin River Race
  • Bouncy castle
  • Mechanical Bull
  • Wagon Rides
  • A world famous magician.

You can help keep Chantelle’s memory alive by coming out to the annual pumpkin blast, and while you're there, have some fun and make a donation to help in the fight against CF.
