It was a Saturday morning and I just went out for a coffee and was delighted to find renowned Nova Scotian Musician Hal Bruce and discovered that he has written a book of memoirs called “Wishing Upon My Star, Journey of a Musician”.

I found him at one of my favourite haunts, the Labour Day Picnic Café located close to home on the Peggy’s Cove Road in Glen Haven.

Hal played some tunes and reminisced about his life experiences which are reflected in his book. A multitude of fans showed up to see him in person and buy a book.

You can get your copy and CD’s on Hal’s website.
