Helping your kids greet our RCMP Heros!

In this episode Ken talks with RCMP Corporal Chris Marshall about what it's like when children approach them to say hi.

Corporal Marshall joined the RCMP in 2011 and was posted to Shelburne for about two years. He was then posted to Cheticamp, in August 2013 and then posted to Kingston in August 2015 where he was put on General Duty. In September 2018 Chris moved to the Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit in New Minas.

Over his 11 years on the force Corporal Marshall has had many opportunities to interact with members of the community including many young families and interaction with members of the Acadian community.

As a father, an avid hockey player and sports fan and Corporal Marshall coaches a U18 minor hockey team.

He lived in Montreal, Quebec for most of his life prior to joining the RCMP, but he did spent a portion of his childhood living in the Annapolis Valley area of Nova Scotia where he is now posted.
