A discussion with Jack Rinchich – American First Responder
In this episode, author and long time parent Ken Hubley has a great conversation with Chief Jack Rinchich who's list of accolades is longer than the number of strips on his sleeves.
From serving in the US Marine Corps to becoming an ordained Police Chaplin, Jack has served his community and country for most of his life.
Chief Rinchich is or was:
- A US Marine
- A former Patrol Officer
- Former Chief of the Charleston, West Virginia Police Department
- An ordained Police Chaplain.
- President of the National Ass. of Chiefs of Police.
- Head of the American Police Hall of Fame
With such an extensive career, we wanted to know his feelings when it comes to talking to children who approach police officers and his thoughts on Ken's “Autograph of Hero's” book and how it can be used as an icebreaker.
