LIVE community supportive event coverage.
Our community correspondent Brian C. was LIVE from the St. Margaret’s Bay trail to bring you some coverage of the Unicorn Purple Hike for Epilepsy as it was happening.
This fundraiser was put on by the Unicorn Theatre, which is located at the Bay Community Centre located at the head of St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia.
The Purple Hike allowed for either a 2km or 5 km hike depending the hiking level of the participants with the hike starting at the Station Road entrance to the trail system.
The hike was followed by a free barbeque, fellowship and family fun.
All proceeds from the hike go towards the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes Epilepsy Education Program and you can still make a pledge online.
Watching, liking, sharing and following us goes a long way to helping us bring you more local content.
