Power crews are have been busy all week working hard restoring power to residents in the South End of Halifax finally managing to accomplish this task for the 1500 block of Preston Street around 4pm this afternoon, but not before a number of residents lost a good portion of their food.
At least two Elm Street residents have suffered the results of large trees landing on their houses. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time.
