The pride flag was raised at the Wolfville Harbour Park by Mayor Jeff Cantwell & a young assistant, to commemorate International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biophobia.
The Rainbow Chorus sang a few songs and some invited guests said a few words. All were welcome to attend.
Wolfville Waterfront Park overlooks the Wolfville Harbour and is accessed from Harbourside Drive and the Wolfville Rail Trail. There is free parking off Harbourside Drive, and nearby Front Street. Public washrooms are located in the adjacent Rail Town Complex. The event takes place outside, on the lawn of the park, under the flagpole.
